Who is Olamide?

Creative strategy-focused media marketing professional with a diverse skill set in brand development and community engagement. Known for big ideas and effective execution, I'm dedicated to creating a lasting impact and thinking outside the box.

Recently, I served as a Resident Counselor for the Georgetown Summer Hoya Program with Summer Discovery, building on 3+ years as a Resident Assistant at the University of North Texas. These experiences enriched my professional portfolio, allowing me to build community with students and support their growth. My expertise includes Event Planning, Graphic Design, Conflict Management, Creative Problem Solving, Social Media Management, and Sports Coaching—key tools in my professional toolkit.

During my time at the University of North Texas I held several leadership positions, including being a member of the North Texas 40, which recognizes the top 40 student leaders on campus, and a UPCrew member on the University Programs Council . In these roles, I collaborated with other student leaders to create and execute events for the student body and worked closely with university Presidential staff to provide feedback on university initiatives. Our efforts led to a 35% increase in student participation. Another highlight of my time at UNT was competing in the National Advertising Competition with my group, GRAVITAS. As part of the Strategy and Accounts team, we developed a full ad campaign for Tide Laundry, securing 3rd place overall in the District competition and receiving a special judges' award.

Outside of academia, I interned at the Kimbell Art Museum as a Marketing/Public Relations/Graphic Design intern and RIppleMatch as a Remote Marketing Intern. At the Kimbell, I managed various signage executions, social media posts, and assisted in the preparation, implementation, and promotion of the Bonnards Worlds exhibit opening. At RippleMatch, I was recognized in the top 15% of intern performance among 500+ active interns, leveraging tools like social media, email marketing, presentations, and networking to grow awareness and measure impact.

Specialties: Digital Marketing, Event Planning, Creative Ideation, Public/Community Engagement, Problem Solving, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.

When I'm not working, I'm constantly absorbing media—whether it's pop culture, binge-watching a new show, or scrolling through social media. From Film/TV, Theatre, and Video Games to Sports, Music, and Animation, I follow it all and am always ready for an in-depth discussion on any topic.
