Brief: Clubs and Activities I was a part of while I was a student at the University of North Texas
Gravitas
What is Gravitas?
Gravitas is an organization that prepares students for careers in advertising. Gravitas is a selection of students who work together to create an Ad campaign to compete in the annual National Student Advertising Competition.
Ad Campaign/Role
I was apart of the strategy and accounts team where we created our creative brief and the basis for the whole campaign. With my professional tool box I also helped creative make concepts and choose media placements.

National Ad Competition
At our district competition we competed as Agency 820 where we won 3rd Place and the Special Judges award for Teamwork




North Texas Forty Foundation (NT40)
What is NT40?

Founded in 1974, members are known as the "Top 40 Leaders" on campus for their reputation of upholding spirit, traditions, commitment to UNT, involvement around campus, and academic achievement in the classroom.
NT40 work in conjunction with the President office to help push UNT initiatives and provide suggestions on policies to help the student body.
Notable Events
The NT40 hosts a variety of leadership development workshops and events multiple times a semester, which serves as an outreach effort with other upcoming campus leaders.
All for North Texas; North Texas for All Leadership Conference
A four-hour conference introduces students to leadership skills and fosters networking. It emphasizes the Relational Model of Leadership, which highlights the importance of relationships in achieving common goals.
By attending, students will enhance their leadership abilities and connect with peers and university administration. This annual summit serves as both a training tool and a networking opportunity for emerging leaders.
NT40 WEEK
Recruitment week for NT40 that happens once every semester where members of NT40 strive to inform the student body about what NT40 does while putting on interactive events every day of the week. Applications would be promoted as we search for the new wave of NT40 members.
Volunteer/Philanthropy
Blanket Drive: We bought fabric that could be fashioned in to blankets to give to the homeless communities in North Texas.
Shilo Community Garden: Members would help in the community garden by planting new crops, moving soil sediments , and maintaining the clean ecosystem of
American Marketing Association (AMA)
What is AMA?

The American Marketing Association (AMA) is a professional association that connects and supports marketing professionals, academics, and organizations, fostering collaboration within the field of marketing
AMA International Collegiate Conference (ICC)
Annual Conference held for all AMA chapters to participate in different competitions and learn from different workshops and professionals in the industry. This conference is also a great networking opportunity where I added 250+ connections on LinkedIn.

Internship Panel
I was chosen to speak on my internship experience at the Kimbell Art Museum. I gave insights on tactics I used getting an internship and how to maximize your presence in an internship.
Univision/Unimas DFW
Had the opportunity to tour the Univision and meet Emmy Winner Karen la Coqueta and Anchor Angela Del Rio and learn the dynamics at Univision and the duality of working in media/radio.
Medium Giant
Had the opportunity to tour the Medium Giant agency and get a feel what it would be working in a full service agency setting.
WIM Site Visits
Invited to tour four Dow work hotspots with the Women in Media organization including Cumulus Media, Dallas Mavericks, WFAA TV, Arm Candy Agency, and TRG.

University Programs Council (UPC)
What is UPC?

The University Program Council( UPC) is UNT's only student-run programming board. UPC devoted to planning FREE events for our student community that are educational, social, and exciting! UPC plans everything from movie screenings to major concerts to even educational events.
Committees I was apart of:
UPCrew: Sub Committee that worked directly under the exec board or senior members.
Responsibilities included help committee heads navigate day to day operations and spearhead UPC banquet
Films: Spearhead all movie screening. From marketing the event to running concessions and movie screenings.
Entertainment: Spearhead entertainment events such as magic showcases, stand up comedians, and talent shows along with many more.
Key Moments
Emcee:
I had the opportunity to be the emcee for many events such as Matt Rifes' Stand Up Show., UNT's Got Talent and UPC Concert with Maiya the Don
UPConcert: Maiya The Don:
I got to help run one of our UPConcerts with VIP guest Maiya the don. I also created a Maiya the Don Essentials playlist to boost hype for the program.


Green Jackets
What is Green Jackets?

Founded in 1925 green Jackets is a service org on campus at UNT. Members of Green Jackets show strong leadership skills on and off campus; having a true passion for service toward UNT and its community, are outstanding students in the classroom, and constantly serve as role models for their peers.Green Jackets provide service for any event that needs to be staffed at UNT from VIP Dinners, Our Distinguished Lecture Series, and Career Fairs. Faculty can also request Green Jackets for any help.
